Ara is an award winning task chair and the first office chair designed, developed and manufactured in Europe to achieve Cradle to Cradle accreditation.
An achievement that we are very proud of at Orangebox and with the success that Ara has
achieved since it’s launch you would think we could sit back and enjoy our success.
Unfortunately in the real world, we all know time stands still for no one and so it’s proved with
Ara. Success also meant listening hard to our customers and when we heard the same request,
on a number of occasions, for a third chair that has the feel and comfort of the upholstered Ara
but without the foam insert - we explored the viability of a third solution.
The result is Ara Airtech, which is a 3D fabric with a unique softness and open texture, that
delivers a fresh aesthetic and comfort that is almost a perfect hybrid between mesh and fabric.
This third member of the Ara product family can now be requested via our showroom and
sales team.
And you know the saying ‘success breeds success’, so it has proved with this new Ara Airtech,
which has just been selected for the new Ordnance Survey headquarters in Southampton, a great project win for both Orangebox and Eurotek. We will be delivering in excess of 900 Ara Airtech’s over the Winter.
