Customer Service Representative USA

Salary: Competitive, plus excellent benefits package

The Job

Established in 1973 Orangebox is today widely recognized as one of the UK’s most dynamic and innovative manufacturing companies, producing and exporting market-leading office furniture across the world.

With four sites in the UK and one in Dubai we employ in excess of 400 people.

As part of our international strategy in 2015 we launched Orangebox US Inc. and are now providing our products to the USA marketplace.

To support our growth we are looking to recruit a talented and knowledgeable Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Grand Rapids office.

The key area of responsibility will be to ensure we provide the highest level of customer service support and order processing for our clients across the East and West Coast.

The Role

The day to day responsibilities will include the following:

  • Receiving, amending and processing product orders using Eden
  • Handling purchase orders and liaising with our partner manufacturer
  • Providing support to our network of dealers and our internal sales team on pricing, materials, fabrics and lead times
  • Assisting our clients with provision of marketing materials and brochure orders as and when required
  • Monitoring deliveries and ensuring delivery dates are achieved and invoices are generated in a timely manner
  • Investigating and resolving any queries and issues relating to product deliveries
  • Liaising with various parties in the handling of quality issues and escalating to the appropriate departments
  • Providing support and advice on any special product requests
  • Provide general office administration support including the ordering of stationary, equipment and addressing any facilities issues.

The Person

The successful candidate would ideally have the following experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Previous experience of working within a similar customer service or account management based role
  • Previous order processing experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with others
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to contribute to suggestions for improvements in processes and procedures
  • Good level of IT literacy including MS Word / Excel / Outlook
  • A proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work well in a small team environment
  • Approachable and friendly demeanour

 

 

The Reward
