Light on its feet.
Reducing embedded carbon is key to Orangebox design. 95% of Beyond the Desk’s material suppliers are UK-based, with over 50% located within 10 miles of our factory. The cushion is moulded to encapsulate the seat frame, streamlining production and enabling easier remanufacture. The frame and privacy screens use FSC-certified wood.
A modular upholstered system.
Fully upholstered structural units combine to create inviting, nurturing workspaces—ranging from open banquettes and seminar areas to cosy, curved snugs. The system offers a supportive, upright sit, with optional fixed or loose worktables, rear shelf, and integrated power within easy reach.
Ergonomic support.
A shortened seat depth and neutral rake support both upright and reclined postures. Integrated power options ensure devices stay charged within arm’s reach. The ergonomic table collection offers a comfortable surface for writing and working.
