The Orangebox | Ercol collaboration is a contemporary collection of 7 beautifully crafted archive designs manufactured in Britain. Designed by Lucian R. Ercolani between 1955 and 1960, the collection represents the very best in form and function.
Chosen from an archive which has a unique place in British design and manufacturing history, each piece is a fine example of where craft, engineering and aesthetics are perfectly combined. This collection of mid-century archive designs has stood the test of time and cannot be improved, they hold a true place in heritage British design.
Using traditional methods of furniture making, the handcrafted collection is produced by Ercol from European FSC™ timber in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire - the upholstery is manufactured 100 miles away in Nantgarw, Wales by Orangebox. A mindful curation of classic design, craft-based production and material responsibility.
